The service
Formatomat is a free file converter that runs in your browser, with no sign-up. We may change it, add or remove formats, or pause it temporarily for maintenance.
Your files and your responsibilities
Your files stay on your device and we never have access to them. You are responsible for the files you convert: you must have the right to use them, and you agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, in particular to bypass copy protection or infringe anyone’s rights.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to convert faithfully, but some files may convert imperfectly or not at all. Always keep your originals and check the result before deleting anything.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from use of the service, such as data loss. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Intellectual property
The Formatomat name, logo, design and site texts are protected. The open-source software we use remains under its own licences (see the About page).
Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
